What do I need to start?

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
Successful completion of an Emergency First Response® (EFR) or Divers Alert Network (DAN) Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course or equivalent within 24 months. The EFR or DAN course can be conducted at the same time as the Rescue Diver training and must be completed prior to certification.

What will I learn?

Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and if necessary manage dive emergencies. During the twelve exercises over five open water sessions, you'll cover:

Self-rescue and diver stress
Diver first aid
Emergency management and equipment
Swimming and non-swimming assists
Panicked diver response
Underwater problems
Missing diver procedures
Surfacing the unconscious diver
In water artificial respiration
Exits
First aid procedures for pressure related
accidents
Dive accident scenarios

How long will it take?

Depending on the student, but the course normally takes an evening in the pool and two days in open water either at Sealine or Inland Sea.

What will I need?

PADI Rescue Diver E-Learning which is included in the course price. You can start studying straight away after downloading the PADI App and receiving an email invitation from PADI. Please supply me your full names, date of birth and email address to add you as my student through PADI instructor portal (Please don’t try subscribe through PADI website direct as the cost is already paid by me!)
First Aid and CPR training – EFR - (within the previous 24 months)
You should have your own full SCUBA equipment, but you can speak to me about renting equipment or purchasing Scubapro, Apeks or Aqualung brands.

Where can I go from here?

The PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all Professional level PADI courses as well as for Master Scuba Diver (the Black Belt of diving and the highest non- professional rating in scuba diving!).

The PADI Divemaster Course are for those with leadership aspirations this course will focus more on dive theory and developing your leadership skills so that you can become a true PADI professional!

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is QAR 2,000-00 per person including PADI E-Learning, Digital Certification Card and Training Course.

If you require Emergency First Response® (EFR) Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course it is extra QAR 500-00 for E-Learning, Digital Certification and Training Course.
